Wildacres artist residency

August 2024 I was awarded an Artist Residency at Wildacres Retreat in Little Switzerland, NC. There I had the opportunity to create 8 individual plein air paintings, using the scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains as my inspiration.

thunderbird bar

Featured artist for May 2024 at Thunderbird Bar in Portland, OR. Thunderbird was a great setting for showcasing a collection of pieces mixing both Americana and nature.

LAika STudios

While working at Laika Studios, I’ve been able to be a part of 3 separate shows in their gallery space. The first being a solo show titled “Lost & Found” which showcased art inspired by and framed in thrifted or antique pieces. The second and third shows showcased a few original plein air paintings, which hung alongside many other amazing pieces of art made by peers at LAIKA studios.

OLD PAL

A small collection of original ink drawings were showcased in the lobby of Pulse PDX.

portLand center Stage

A collection of ink drawings inspired by vintage photographs and abandoned farmhouses showed outside of the Ellen Bye Studio for the run of Macbeth during Portland Center Stage’s 2018-2019 season. Both Macbeth and my art drew on Southern Gothic themes, which made a great pairing for audience members.
